Hawaii’s Best Cafés

Hawaii is well known for its incredibly beautiful beaches, its glorious weather and of course, the luxurious hawaii beach rentals that everyone loves. But where can you go for a quick bite to eat and a cup of the good stuff? As a matter of fact, Hawaii and its surrounding areas are home to some very nice cafés and you can find some of the best ones listed below:

Bogart’s Cafe and Espresso Bar

Located at 3045 Monsarrat Ave Ste 9, Honolulu, Bogart’s Cafe and Espresso Bar serves Hawaiian and American dishes as well as the drinks and nibbles you would usually find in a café. This café is a particularly popular one thanks to some of the very tasty dishes that are happily served up. For example, you may wish to enjoy a Hawaiian waffle, followed by an all-American breakfast with a cappuccino to wash it down. You can also enjoy a smoothie or two, a bagel or a soup or a salad if you wish. All meals are cooked to order and the portions are very large.

With a nice clean feel, the café has a light interior that is often a welcome break from the Hawaiian heat. You don’t need to book a table at this café, but you should note that it does get quite busy around lunchtime so you may want to opt for an early or late lunch. Stylishly decorated and serving some of the island’s tastiest dishes, you need to visit Bogart’s Cafe and Espresso Bar at least once during your stay in Hawaii.

Morning Glass Coffee

Found at 2955 E Manoa Rd, Honolulu, Morning Glass Coffee is a vegetarian-friendly café that serves American-style drinks and dishes. The café itself has a wide selection of cakes on offer that tend to change every day, for example, one day you may see carrot cake and condensed milk cake for sale, another day you may see s’mores cake and banana and chocolate bread pudding on offer. One of the great things about Morning Glass Coffee is that it tends to stand out from those regular cafés that sell the same things day in, day out.

With inside and outside seating and an impressive menu, you will not be left feeling hungry thanks to the wide range of breakfast and lunch dishes on the menu. If you only fancy a snack then you’ll be happy to know there are plenty of those on offer too. When it comes to drinking a cup of coffee or tea you should be aware that the selection of drinks on offer is a good one, so you may have difficulty choosing what you want to drink. However, no matter what you choose, you can be sure that it will be expertly prepared and served with love. Come to Morning Glass Coffee if you have the chance, this café really is well worth a visit.

The Greenery Cafe

Located at 3146 Akahi St, Lihue, Kauai, The Greenery Cafe serves tasty American and vegetarian-friendly dishes. Focusing on organic foods and traditional staples such as candied yams, collard greens, lemongrass, sweet potatoes and more, this café is in a league of its own. The dishes offered here are very good, and they certainly do not scrimp on the portion sizes. If you’re looking for something tasty and nutritious, this is the place to be. While this café is vegetarian-friendly you can get your hands on a few meat dishes should you wish to do so. The organic curry chicken salad sandwich is simply lovely as is the turkey chilli stew. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes on the menu and a few vegan ones too, meaning no-one will feel left out.

The Greenery Cafe is set in what could be someone’s garden, and the café itself really could be mistaken for someone’s one-story home, but it’s definitely a café and it’s a wonderful place to be. With food available to take out or delivered, should you wish it to be, the Greenery Cafe is certainly unlike any other café you will come across.

Moena Cafe

Found at 7192 Kalanianaole Hwy Ste D101, Koko Marina Shopping Center, Honolulu, Moena Cafe serves up Hawaiian and American dishes that includes some huge waffles, tasty pancakes and some very nice burgers and paninis. You do have a surprisingly large choice of food on the menu and you may have difficulty choosing what you would like to eat, but it’s always better to be faced with a large choice than a relatively small menu.

As far as the drinks are concerned, you can expect to find a large number of choices, from speciality iced teas to espressos and shakes. Everything on the menu is prepared to order and everything on the menu tastes great, so you will not be disappointed. The café is a lot classier than you may expect from a humble café, but it makes a nice change from all of those informal eateries. If you would like to enjoy a bit to eat somewhere special, Moena café is the place to be.

While there are many different cafés in Hawaii and the surrounding islands, we believe that Bogart’s Cafe and Espresso Bar, Morning Glass Coffee, The Greenery Cafe and Moena Cafe are some of the best cafés around. Why not take a trip to each of these fabulous eateries and see for yourself just how good they are?
