The Benefits of Vaping as Compared to Smoking

Vaping and smoking are methods of taking nicotine into the body of an individual. There has been controversial debate arising between the two methods, as vaping is being preferred for its benefits as compared to smoking. However, smokers have argued that there is no difference between the two and that vaping individuals should not hide behind vaping as the two methods are similar. However, it is apparent that there is a significant number of differences in the two methods.

Difference between Smoking and Vaping

While smoking involves combusting dead plant materials to release smoke that is inhaled into the lungs of the smoker, vaping involves raw heating plant and plant products such as leaves, fruits, and green stems to release vapor that is later inhaled when is cooling. From the analysis, it is clear that smoking involves inhaling smoke that is mostly made up of both carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide while vaping consists in inhaling water, dissolved foods, fats, and oils from the plants. If that is not satisfactory enough, here are a few significant benefits of vaping as compared to smoking.

There is no solid evidence that vaping is safe. It just means that we don’t know what the long-term effects may be. We do know that smoking has been known to deteriorate the health of the user. People who are near smokers complain about second-hand smoke and the health hazards the smoke can cause. Vaping ensures that the user gets the most critical components of the plant such as water, mineral salts, oils, and fats which are all available in dissolved form. You will not get these benefits from smoking because all the plant materials being combusted are dead and thus contain no benefits except nicotine. Actually, smoking is being listed as one of the leading causes of lung cancer and other lung-related problems.

The availability of some of the best e-liquid flavors, like top e juice picks of the year, is making vaping more of an enjoyable activity than it has ever been before. You will find that a significant number of people who want to quit smoking are turning to vape because they love the flavors and are not attracted back to smoking. They say that vaping offers an alternative to smoking.

It has been reported that all those products that people use for nicotine and leisure are addictive and it is difficult to leave them. That is not true. Many individuals who have been vaping have realized that they can leave it with ease and walk away. Some users can leave vaping for a certain amount of time and later start up again. Vaporing has low amounts of nicotine hence making it easy to leave it because there is no addiction.

The argument regarding smoking versus vaping will go on, but the facts highlighted above are definitely worth discussing. Cigarette smoking kills almost half a million people a year in the United States. Most of the damage is from the thousands of chemicals that are burned and inhaled in the smoke.  One thing is for certain, it is time that people find a safer alternative to smoking.
